2. Measure and plan: Accurate measurements should be taken of the room or your house where the flooring is going to be installed. A plan should also be made for how the flooring will be laid out, taking into account any patterns or designs. We can go through this together.
3. Acclimate the flooring: Some types of flooring, such as hardwood, may need to be acclimated to the room's temperature and humidity levels before installation. Please read carefully the catalogues and manuals of the flooring product we are going to install.
4. Install any underlayment: Underlayment may also be required to provide a smooth and level surface for the flooring to be installed on. This may involve laying down a moisture barrier or a foam underlayment. We will bring these products to the site on the flooring day you have scheduled with us.
5. Install the flooring: The flooring can now be installed according to the manufacturer's instructions. We at Live Timber Flooring follow the guidelines one by one. This may consist of using adhesive, nails, or other fasteners.
6. Finish the edges: Once the main area of the flooring of your house has been installed, any necessary trim or edging can be installed to complete the look.
7. Clean up: After the installation is complete, we clean up the work area and remove all debris that has been spread.
